Person A claims: X is true.

In this case, Person A has the burden of proof. He should find and present evidence for statement X. Person A can not deem X to be true because of the lack of evidence against X, since there is an equal lack of evidence for X

Well known examples:

Should person A not have burden of proof, the following statements are to be considered true:

- God exists - My dog spoke English to me this morning - [any random statement / figment of imagination]
