Wording for intended audience

It appears that this questionnaire is intended to get Christians to question their faith. With that goal in mind, I think the best questions to include would be those which are the MOST compelling / persuasive from a Christian's point of view.

Question #4 compares the reward of heaven to receiving a reward for returning a lost wallet. From a Christian's point of view, this question would be a considered a "false choice." They would probably claim the position of a person who returns a wallet *without* asking for a reward, but who is then given a reward anyway. So the reward isn't the motivation to return the wallet, but simply a bonus.

For this reason, I am going to eliminate this question and replace it with one or two other questions which I hope might be more challenging to answer. If anyone disputes this change, let's discuss it here. --DrMarson 11:13, 29 October 2009 (CDT)

It sounds like a valid reason to me, I do see a potential problem for the current Question #4 now though, I've heard a few Christians answer it with the belief that people who live lives as good people but never hear the word of Jesus will still go to heaven, or something like that. That of course loops back to Question #3, because if they haven't heard of Christianity how could they be moral in the first place?

I'm going to take a guess that most theists (unless they are some of the raving lunatic ones) if they believe: No knowledge of Jesus + Good person = Heaven; probably don't believe that morality comes from religion. 124.179.14.157 23:58, 31 October 2009 (CDT)

More Questions

I have added a couple of questions to the questionnaire, but of course it doesn't begin to cover all the arguments. How many questions would be a good maximum number for this questionnaire? Obviously we don't want to make it so long that no one responds, but we want to bring up as many different arguments as possible. --DrMarson 11:13, 29 October 2009 (CDT)
